Tessa Kissick

aka RainbowShimmers

About Me

Inspired by fantasy entertainment at a young age, Tessa Kissick creates artworks based on her passions of bugs and birds to bring others similar feelings of whimsy and fun. Her love of fantasy is fed by newer games like Cult of the Lamb, Death’s Door, and Valheim to name a few and she strives to bring similar storytelling and fantastical fun to others in similar ways.

Armed with both digital and traditional means, she uses them to create new stories laced with a liveliness inspired by the games she enjoys. These visual representations take on a life of their own and communicate something beyond initial impressions with a tinge of mysteriousness or melancholy. Each piece, Tessa experiments with something new to keep that creative spark in her works alive while adding a new tool into her belt.

Through her studies at Savannah College of Art and Design, she continues breathing life into new fantastical worlds with each piece. When she isn’t working on a new art piece, you can catch her networking with peers and friends or exploring new worlds in various video games.
